Year
2012

Brief
A new website for Junior (then JuniorCru, now Ogilvy Brisbane).

Challenges
Junior had a rep for their weird and wonderful websites. Of course, it had to be a fine balance of the two to appeal to a broad range of clients.

Solution
1970’s science-fiction inspired bunker, made out of paper.

Approach
Fellow art director, Alan Crowne and I spent around 6 months sketching, building, photographing and hand-crafting over a hundred models, landscapes, bunkers and characters for the site. It featured all the things that made Junior, Junior — our work, animated table tennis players, hidden Easter eggs and even a live stream to a monkey enclosure — weird and wonderful, remember?
